It’s Friday again, mamas, and poops is here with today’s Momtra. I’m simply going to leave you all to think about this one, as it’s so powerful, there is little need for an introduction:
If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole worlds belongs to you.
I hope as you enter your weekend, you will give this passage some deep consideration, as it’s incredibly meaningful and bears the seed of all truth. So much of our lives are spent trying to “get” something…whether it’s the acquisition of material things or acknowledgment from others or attempts at making great changes occur. But the truth is, we spend very little time basking in what already is. What do I mean? We seldom take a moment to see that, truly, we already have all that we need. Look around you, be content with what you have, says the Tao. There is tremendous freedom in this. With the realization that nothing is lacking, you can let go of those desires which, in the end, never bring true fulfillment – only more desires.
Until Monday, my beautiful poopies….
